RBC Global Asset Management (U.S.) Inc. ("RBC GAM") is the sub advisor
of and responsible for the day to day portfolio management
of the Hennessy Select
Large Value Fund. RBC GAM operates as a wholly
owned subsidiary of the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC).
The RBC GAM team is made up of seasoned portfolio management professionals, with each providing
expertise in a focused number of industry sectors:
Stuart A. Lippe, Lead Manager, has
been a senior portfolio manager at RBC GAM since 2007
and was Senior Large Cap Value Portfolio Manager at
Freedom Capital Management from 2000 to 2007. Prior
to his experience at RBC GAM and Freedom Capital, Sam
was a portfolio manager and analyst for the Endowment
Fund at Howard Hughes Medical Institute. He also worked
as an analyst for value-oriented portfolios at Legg
Mason Capital Management and Sanford C. Bernstein &
Company. Sam began his career in the investment industry
in 1978. He received a BS from Cornell University and
an MBA from New York University, Stern School of Business.
Sam is a member of the Association of Insurance and
Financial Analysts. He currently has responsibilities
for Health Care, Materials, Energy and Consumer Staples
sectors.
Barbara S. Browning, CFA, has been a senior portfolio manager at RBC GAM since
2007 and was Portfolio Manager and Research Analyst
on Freedom Capital Management’s Value team. Prior to
joining Freedom Capital, Barbara was a portfolio manager
at National City Bank in Columbus, Ohio and also held
portfolio manager and analyst positions with Banc One
Investment Advisors and the State Teachers’ Retirement
System of Ohio. Barbara has been in the investment industry
since 1991. She received a BA from Ohio State University.
Barbara is a CFA charter holder and member of the CFA
Institute. She currently has responsibilities for Consumer
Discretionary, Information Technology, Telecommunication Services
and Utilities sectors.
Adam D. Scheiner, CFA, has
been a senior portfolio manager at RBC GAM since 2007
and was Portfolio Manager and Research Analyst on Credit
Suisse Asset Management’s large cap value team. Prior
to joining Credit Suisse, Adam was a portfolio manager
at Ark Asset Management and Invesco Capital Management.
Adam has been in the investment industry since 1989.
He received a BA from Rutgers College and an MBA from
New York University Stern School of Business. Adam is
a CFA charter holder. He currently has responsibilities
for Industrials and Financials sectors. |
