October 22, 2015 - Hennessy Funds announced that it has received four 2015 STAR Awards for excellence in mutual fund marketing and communications. This marks the seventh consecutive year that the firm has been honored by MFEA and brings the total number of STAR Awards received to 17. The STAR Awards are presented annually by the Mutual Fund Education Alliance (MFEA), a national mutual fund industry trade association, and the awards have become a prestigious recognition of companies in the fund industry who excel in marketing, education, and communications.
Hennessy Funds this year received the coveted Overall Communications Award among small asset level firms for its all-around, cohesive effort for communicating to investment advisors, both online and offline. Hennessy was also named the winner in the small asset category for best Retail Education Brochure, Advisor Electronic Newsletter, and Advisor Digital Innovation.
