Ryan brings over two decades of financial services experience to his role as Chief Investment Officer and Portfolio Manager at Hennessy Funds.
Ryan began his career as an associate in corporate finance at FBR & Co., a leading investment bank, and later joined their institutional equity research team. He was named to the FBR Funds Portfolio Management team in 2005. Ryan joined Hennessy Funds in 2012 through the acquisition of FBR Funds, and he was promoted to Chief Investment Officer in 2021 to lead our team of investment professionals.
Ryan received a BA from Oberlin College, and he is a CFA charterholder and a member of both the CFA Society Boston and the CFA Society North Carolina.
